Our Lady appeared to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche in the 13th century to convey the devotion of the Rosary.

The Rosary is comprised of five decades with each decade consisting of an Our Father then Ten Hail Marys followed by a Glory Be and then a Fatima Prayer. Each of the 5 Decades is associated with three sets of mysteries, the Joyful Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries, and the Glorious Mysteries. One entire Rosary is 15 decades long. Praying the Rosary or as it is called, Mary’s Psalter, consists of a total of 150 Hail Marys.

The Rosary is one of the most important devotions of the Catholic Church that imparts graces and merits from Our Lady. The Blessed Mother made fifteen promises to those who pray the Rosary Daily.
